Dr. Devin Matsumori, dds

Dr. Devin Matsumori grew up right here in Sandy, Utah and graduated from Brighton High School, one year behind Dr. Masson. After attending Brigham Young University and playing on the BYU soccer team he continued his education in Omaha, Nebraska at Creighton University Dental School, where Dr. Masson and Dr. Matsumori would again attend the same school. After graduation, Dr. Matsumori headed to Gilbert, Arizona for almost 5 years where he attended a one year general practice residency program and worked in private practice as an associate dentist. He loved his time in Arizona, but his family decided to move back home and return to Utah. Shortly after purchasing Dr. David Jackson’s practice, Dr. Matsumori discovered that Dr. Masson was practicing less than a half a mile away from him.

With the close proximity of their practices, they had opportunity to consult one another and continue to build their relationship. They felt benefited by each other’s experience and strengths and decided to combine practices.

Dr. Matsumori and his incredible wife, Becca and have 7 children: Hugh, Tomiko, Mae, Everett, Ione, Kiyo and Demi. Outside of Dentistry, you can find him wrestling his kids, coaching their sports teams, playing pick-up basketball at the local church gym or playing indoor soccer with his “has been” teammates. He also enjoys playing an occasional round of golf, attending college football and Utah Jazz games, going to Broadway musicals and searching our his next favorite restaurant with his wife.

Dr. Matsumori loves being a dentist. He feels honored to work with great people each day and loves getting to know his patients better.
